This year's Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival will be held May 20th & 21st, 2017 at Sandy Point State Park near Annapolis, Maryland. The net proceeds from this show will go to help local charities.

Arts in the Estuary - Dover Delaware
The Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve (DNERR) is holding Arts in the Estuary from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at the St. Jones Reserve, 818 Kitts Hummock Road, Dover and at the John Dickinson Plantation, located next to the Reserve at 340 Kitts Hummock Road.
Arts in the Estuary will feature artists, photographers, jewelers, wood carvers, and exhibitors showcasing their work for sale at the St. Jones Reserve.
Visitors can view painting and carving demonstrations, speak to local artists, paint an estuary landscape, and get tips on how to create their own artwork.
Children of all ages can demonstrate their talents by painting with soils, making fish prints, and doing other children’s activities.
Live musical performances will include Bethany Krumrine at 11 a.m. and by Rick Schuman at 12:30 p.m.
At the John Dickinson Plantation, period artists will demonstrate their heirloom crafts and costumed interpreters will guide visitors through the mansion and demonstrate the colonial art of preserving, smoking and pickling foods.
The event also includes the Delaware Native Plant Society’s Annual Native Plant Sale.
Arts in the Estuary will be held in celebration of National Estuary Day. Admission is free to the event, which will be held rain-or-shine.

The American Music Festival will be held September 4, 5, 6, 2015 in Virginia Beach.
The festival includes concerts by more than 30 bands. A number of national and international artists are scheduled to perform on the Main Stage at 5th Street.
Additional free performances will be held at 17th Street Park, 24th Street Park, and 31st Street Park.

2013 Southern Maryland Blues Festival Bands Update
Chesapeake Bay Events recently announced that 14 year old Blues/Guitar prodigy "KINGFISH" has been added to the Sunday September 8th lineup of the 2013 Southern Maryland Blues Festival. Christone "Kingfish" Ingram will be a featured guest of the Daryl Davis Band.
Kingfish was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi which has gained much notoriety as the birthplace of the Blues. It’s reputation is well known the world over for spawning such notable legends as Muddy Waters, Pinetop Perkins, Robert Johnson, John Lee Hooker, Gospel and Soul singer Sam Cooke, Ike Turner, and many others. The legendary town of Clarksdale is located at the intersection of Highway 61 and Highway 49.
The Southern Maryland Blues Festival is a two day festival featuring 12 national, international and local bands. There will be Arts, Crafts, Kids Activities, a variety of food, beer and craft beer tasting by local hosted breweries, wine and wine tasting hosted by local wineries.
The 2 day event is being held on September 7th and 8th at the Calvert County Fairgrounds in Barstow, Maryland. The festival will benefit the less fortunate of Southern Maryland through a contribution of ALL net proceeds to End Hunger in Calvert County.

The American Music Festival, the largest outdoor musical event on the East coast, features local, regional and national acts.
Music at the American Music Festival includes rock, jazz, country, blues, R&B and more.
A variety of national acts are scheduled to play, including the Stone Temple Pilots (September 2), ZZ Top (September 3) and Bret Michaels (September 4).
During the festival, musicians perform on a 60-foot wide and 60-foot tall stage on the beach at 5th Street as well as on other stages along the beautiful oceanfront.
